Contribution To Corporate Life of FMS-DU

Prof. Singla has contributed to multiple facets of FMS – DU’s Corporate Life since 1985. Some of the positions he has held and contributions made are:

    Head and Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi between 2014-2017. Member of all FMS Committees from time to time. Chaired sessions for the FMS Conventions, Seminars, Case Development Workshops, etc. Responsible for developing the area of “Information Technology Management” for all MBA Programmes at FMS single handedly since 1985. Undertaken major reforms at FMS – both for academic, placement as well as physical infrastructure as Head & Dean. Passionately involved in the activities of FMS Students and their post-FMS movements. Responsible for organizing former alumni through creation of the “FMS Alumni Association(Regd.)”. The body was duly registered as a Society on 6-Jan-1998, with Prof. Singla as “Founder Secretary”. Apart from building membership and database, the Association has produced official publications. The Association has Regional Chapters at Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dubai, Singapore and London. The membership base has grown to 6800 Life Members and its database stands at 9600 addresses. It has a significant impact on the Corporate Life and Placements of FMS.
